"Of the initial target of 150 cats, 176 were successfully sterilized today," he said.

He added that local male cat sterilization services will be implemented in rotation in all districts until the end of this year.

"We are targeting 1,700 male cats and 500 female cats to be sterilized by the end of this year," he added.

To participate in the cat sterilization service, he explained, simply attach a Central Jakarta ID card domicile and fill out the online registration form by scanning the barcode published on social media.

Meanwhile, Vicky (35), a local resident, admitted that he was greatly helped by the free cat sterilization service.

"I also hope that the sterilization quota for female cats in Central Jakarta will be increased to reduce the population," he hoped.
